About me

After finishing my degree in philosophy I got my first touring gig as a driver through a friend and the band he was involved with. (Yuko Yuko) Afterwards, the same friend invited me to join an eclectic art collective that organized shows in a DIY venue in Groningen (de gym). That’s where I learned the ins and outs of sound engineering for concerts.

Since then I’ve been hitting the road with multiple bands in a variety of capacities. Sound technician, tour manager, driver or a combination of those roles. I love being on the road and so far it’s taken me through most of mainland Europe, the UK, and the US. In addition, I’ve become more and more active as a freelancer for companies and events in and around my hometown: Groningen. Distances in the Netherlands are short though, so you’ll often find me all over the country.
